HR Support Specialist

DKSH - Singapore

• To work closely with Group HR on new HR policies and Procedures (administrative role). Ensure that new policies are downloaded into necessary platforms and inform HR of the matter
• To undertake some research work with external net working in relation to policies, market salaries and local HR Initiatives
• Work the Insurance Brokers on the best quotes for the Company and work out a presentation to the HR Team
• To prepare PowerPoint presentation slides for high level meetings ( with Group HR /CMT)
• To work with Local Compensation Survey Companies, in line with Group HR direction and conduct data inputs into the local compensation survey requirements
• To assist all BU in their salary proposals based on the survey from Mercer or similar companies, and raise it for discussion with HR Business Partners, Recruitment Specialist and Director Human Resources
• To work closely with E Frontier and SAP systems, ensuring that newly hard coded data id is in-corporate into the system
• Ensure data keyed into SAP is correct, via the HR Support team. If there are issues that data are incorrect, to spearhead discussions on how to resolve the solutions to the matter.
• Monitor leave application and expenses claims in E-Frontier
• Assist in the Annual Increment and yearly bonus pay out process
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and business partners for payroll data collection and checking
• Application, Renewal and Cancellation of Employment Pass and Work Permit, and update in the payroll system
• Monitor staffs’ confirmation and contract expiry issues
• Prepare monthly HR reports and quarterly headcount reports and participate in Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys and ad hoc surveys required by government bodies
• Administer the Talent Portal for senior management liaising with Group HR on input as and when required
• Quarterly update of schedule of benefits to ensure local compliance with the company policies and statutory requirements

• Liaise with insurance broker on employee insurance matters
• To handle off cycle payroll beginning of each month.
• To handle the administrative follow up of DKSH Mgt Office
• To handle expat management of DKSH Management Office with Group HR & also the HR Management of all senior employees of DKSH Management Office
• Maintain a full knowledge of terms and conditions of service, P & P and HR practices of DKSH Management Office
• Co-ordinate all levels of disciplinary, grievance and feedback of DKSH Management Office
• Facilitate communication & consultation processes with employees of DKSH Management Office, with involvement of Supervisors as and when appropriate
• The Senior person of the HR Support Role, needs to ensure work is done in accordance with deadlines with the other HR Support employees
• Attention is drawn to the confidential nature of this role and, it’s the role of this position that all information are kept confidential with no disclosure at any point of time
